I specialize in children, preteens, and teens. I started my career as a school counselor and will always keep room on my caseload for our youth. I started ITSCO to give more school-aged children an opportunity to see skilled, licensed, and dedicated therapists to meet their needs.

COUNSELOR

I am currently not accepting new clients.

I have experience with students as they experience pre-deployment, deployment, and post-deployment in group settings where they are able to build relationships and bonds with others experiencing the same situation. I have worked with youth as they have advocated their identity and then supported their needs as they have “come out” to their loved ones.

MENTAL HEALTH FACILITATOR

I have always wanted to work with adolescents! Because of my own experiences with anxiety and the military, I would love to work with adolescents who have anxiety issues or are in military families. I would also love to work with those in the LGBTQ+ population, as I plan on doing so once I am a counselor. Giving young people the space to talk and helping them develop skills to manage anxiety, military struggles, or any other mental health issues are deeply important to me.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR

I offer a safe space for my clients, drawing from my own experiences with ADHD, learning difficulties, and trauma. I provide empathy to those who may feel misunderstood and different. I meet clients where they are and focus on the key aspects of their needs: eyes, eyebrows, mouth, and body language. Many clients may lack the communication skills to express their needs, but the ability to understand and anticipate their next move is something that comes naturally to me. As a behavior skills builder, learning my clients' tells is crucial to my work.
